Filming for the Trailer

In the trailer for Delta Zero I got to play the awesome roll of "dead Guy" i was a dead man in the trailer and i got to wear blood and it was really fun. Other then that i helped with the lighting in the small rooms and got to experience first hand what it is like to be in a potential film. It was incredibly fun and I want to do this more.

My first Movie

My first small film which i made with the class in which I directed is called Grim Outlook.
The film was about a young man that commits suicide and ends up learning that it isn't the answer through death. The film was a great experience to film and was a joy to direct. Even though it was a class project it still was something Im proud of to this day.

The Day Nicholas Cage came to town

The Day I got to see Nicholas Cage was awesome. I went in a small group with other students to go on set for the film room 10. it was there that we watched professional filming in action. I learned that sets have to be very quiet and everyone has a job they need to attend to. Everyone was doing something important and it looked like a well oiled machine of workers all working toward a same goal. This has only made me more willing to go into this business.

My jobs and Duties on Set

      On Thursday April 14th me and many other students worked to help clean up the set so that we can film our movie trailer. My job specifically was to clean one of the sets and make sure that it was swept and there was no more dirt on the set. I believe i made great progress and cleaned up plenty of dirt from the set but my progress for the film came from today April 18th when I helped my classmate Austin with the Production book. I gave helpful hints and let him know what i believe can be changed. So far Austin has done a great job on it and I look forward to working with him more. The Portfolio has been coming along greatly.

My Job as Researcher

While I worked for the film Delta Zero I was tasked with researching what could help in the film to make it better. I looked into classic films such as Alien, and terminator, and i was really thinking that the netflix series Stranger things was a good point of reference as well. When I looked into clothing for the trailer i wanted to think about what would make things more comfy for hyper-sleep since we only needed a trailer to film. We ended up using sweat pants and t shirts so it was perfect considering thats what i think people will still be sleeping in in the future. Other than that i helped with other things for the filming but for research this is what my duties were.
